Remember Benghazi only happened because the State Department had no money for security. And the military had no money for planes. And Obama had no money for his campaign and had to rush to Vegas to fundraise with Beyonce.

Amazing that the mecca of liberalism is turning to personal defensive weapons. Even they don't trust the big government bureaucracy to 'protect them' much. As idiot politicians try to increase control over the population by ignoring OUR CONSTITUTION, We The People still believe in our Freedoms and Rights as stated in the USA Constitution. The 2nd Amendment is just another way to protest Big Government takeover and rule of our daily lives. Constant invasion of privacy by TSA, NSA, FBI, DHS and all the other monstrously huge (and COSTLY) bureaucracies created by fearful politicians to CONTROL US. Remember, carry a gun because a cop is too heavy and they carry guns to protect THEMSELVES, not you!@

Skip Stein's insight:

Only idiot bureaucrats and politicians believe they can keep guns out of criminal hands.  Soon (if not now) 3D printers will crank out one or limited use guns in the office or back room.  How do you feel about being unarmed now?  With this technology any evil idiot will be able to 'print' a gun and use it.  Still want to give you legal gun ownership (of REAL GUNS) that you can use to protect yourself and family?  Not me!

Russia may stop importing U.S. beef and pork | Tech and the Future of Integration | Scoop.it
As of Sunday the U.S. may stop exporting pork and beef to Russia. This was reported by the American Federation of meat export.

It is only Americans who will eat this crap. Injected with growth hormones, antibiotics and fed genetically modified grains. these poor animals are kept caged and force fed to 'fatten them up' for slaughter. Is it any wonder Americans are SICK FAT and Nearly DEAD? Little girls are maturing WAY too early due to contaminated and hormone laced milk and meat and byproducts from these things. Thank goodness WE are Vegan and don't eat any of these poisons! Join us and get healthy! BTW, much of the waterway/ocean pollution and greenhouse gasses are produced by these animal feed lots! Check it our! Eating Plant Based Nutrition is better for the environment, the Planet and YOU!

Video: Feds shut down 100-year-old oyster company, destroy some lives and dreams - Hot Air | Tech and the Future of Integration | Scoop.it

This is how it happens.  Total control over individuals in States by the Federal Government.  They can invent any reason they want and call it 'environmental' saving the Planet.  Same with DHS, they can call anyone/anything 'dangerous' or a 'threat'.

If the idiots were serious, they would shut down animal feed lots as they product MORE CO2 and methanegas than anything.

They can use these regulations to CONTROL anyone and anything that dissagrees with the regime's agenda!

Detroit councilwoman to Obama: We voted for you, now bail us out

Detroit councilwoman to Obama: We voted for you, now bail us out | Tech and the Future of Integration | Scoop.it
The city of Detroit faces a major financial crisis and City Council member JoAnn Watson thinks it's about time President Barack Obama steps in to help.

This poor soul actually believes what she is saying. I feel so sorry for folks like her and others who have been indoctrinated from the time of LBJ and the 'Great Society' to be slaves of the Federal Government. Just look at Detroit and the surrounding areas. It looks like a bombed out ruin and has lost all of the real 'producers' decades ago. These poor people just sit and wait for another handout. They live in slums and government housing they didn't build or pay for and it looks like it. Graffiti, dirt, garbage, crime, murder. THIS is what your Federal Government has provided; not the handout/payback you expect. It hasn't happened in over 50 years, and never will. When will these poor people realize it? We now have generations of welfare kids (like this poor woman) who have grown up in the 'system' that do not know how to fend for themselves, have no idea what it is like to produce, work and earn a livelihood and have independence and pride in accomplishment. They are taught to look to others and the Government for aid, assistance and everything instead of searching inside themselves and learn, study, strive for excellence. This is the legacy of the 'Great Society' and Obama is perpetuating it to the nth degree!

Dr.Oz viciously attacks organic foods and farmers markets, pushes feedlot beef, urges clueless consumers to eat more pesticides and GMO (opinion)...

Dr. Oz has finally done it: He has sold out to Big Ag by declaring organic foods to be "elitist," "snooty" and no better than conventional foods. The man who once urged Americans to eat organic has sold his soul to the criminally-run food giants in a mind-blowing editorial piece recently published in TIME Magazine.

These Gorgeous Sustainable Pre-Fab Houses Fit In A Shipping Container

These Gorgeous Sustainable Pre-Fab Houses Fit In A Shipping Container | Tech and the Future of Integration | Scoop.it
Pre-fab homes have found a new wave of enthusiasm among eco-minded architects and home builders: It’s a cheaper way to bring sustainable features to the masses.

Still way too expensive to be a practical production unit.  You can build a local home almost anywhere on the Planet for less than $105,000 and bigger, better equipped at that.  It's a grand idea, but the price point needs to be closer to $25,000 than $105,000.

Good idea, I might just break out my CAD software and try a version myself!  Steel framing is cheap, so is bamboo flooring.  Wiring, no issue.  LED lighting still pricy but worth it.  Should come equipped with solar panels to be fully 'off the grid' and self sustaining with snap in external water supply with an on-board filtration system.  I think I can do it for under $35,000!
