46 Tools To Make Infographics In The Classroom

46 Tools To Make Infographics In The Classroom | Teaching Tools Today | Scoop.it

Infographics are interesting–a mash of (hopefully) easily-consumed visuals (so, symbols, shapes, and images) and added relevant character-based data (so, numbers, words, and brief sentences).

The learning application for them is clear, with many academic standards–including the Common Core standards–requiring teachers to use a variety of media forms, charts, and other data for both information reading as well as general fluency...

How Technology Is Changing How Teachers Communicate With Students -

How Technology Is Changing How Teachers Communicate With Students - | Teaching Tools Today | Scoop.it
How is technology affecting how teachers communicate with students? From access to tone, quite a bit actually.
Ness Crouch's insight:

Social media and technology have revolutionised how we communicate with students. Generally, children eagerly like using technology... teachers often less so. The advent of web 2.0 tools and social media makes it much easier for teachers and students to communicate regularly. I know people who set up private Facebook groups for their high school classes to allow studetns to discuss ideas and content and ask questions. I think this is a fantastic way of communicating.
