"If you have a box of cassette tapes left over from your Walkman days, then you might want to pay a visit to Hammacher Schlemmer. The online retailer is selling a cassette to iPod converter that could help you finally clear those aging tapes from your shelves."
This photo is just too much fun. It would make a great writing prompt for kids. Ask them to describe what this device is for and what might have happened just before and just after the picture was taken. what kind of people would pay $80 for this thing? (I remember the first Sony cassette recorder/player I bought. It weighed about 4.5 lbs and cost $110 in 1971.)
Now, if this thing worked two ways, and captured information from the phone and recorded it on the tape, that would be worth 80 bucks, right?
