Italian Treasures - Isle Of Capri

Italian Treasures - Isle Of Capri | Teaching | Scoop.it
Capri is an island located in the Tyrrhenian Sea on the south side of the Gulf of Naples in the Campania region of Italy. It has been a resort since the time of the Roman Republic. Some of the main features of the island include the following: the Belvedere of Tragara (a high panoramic promenade lined with villas), the limestone crags called sea stacks that project above the sea (the Faraglioni), the town of Anacapri, the Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra) and the ruins of the Imperial Roman villa. The island has two harbors, Marina Piccola and Marina Grande (the main port of the island). [...]

"One of the wonderful Ed Tech resources I have been checking regularly is Kathy Schrock's Guide to Everything. This website features a wide variety of guides, tips, tutorials, links, presentations and many other resources related to educational technology. All the content is neatly organized into different categories ; clicking on each category will take you to a page where you will find a plethora of resources related to that category. Today as I was checking ' iPad in Classrooms' category I came across some great slideshows on iPad basics, tips and tricks for teachers. I selected some of them to share with you below."

Fundamental Teacher Apps ~ Educational Technology and Mobile Learning

Fundamental Teacher Apps ~ Educational Technology and Mobile Learning | Teaching | Scoop.it
"For those of you seeking to have a quick list of the fundamental apps for your iPaded classroom, the visual below from St Oliver Plunkett Primary School http://bit.ly/1g35zZF ; is a good place to start with. It classifies apps according to different categories such as : search engine apps, classroom management apps, storage apps, digital scrapbooking apps, multimodal literacy apps, text manipulation apps and many more. The only inconvenience which I wish the creators of this graphic worked on is the inclusion of hyperlinks. The apps are not hyperlinked and as such you need to search for them on Google to download them. This graphic is also available for free download in PDF format from this link. http://bit.ly/1oKRGPR Enjoy"

I teach in several different classrooms throughout the day, so having an iPad is extremely important and almost necessary. As I previously mentioned, I almost never have to bring any binders of any sort with me to the classrooms. I see it as an integral part of my teaching."
