Tend to agree with the part about the teacher being a "facilitator of the learning process". There is so much information available to students today and I feel that the teachers role should be one of guidance. This guidance needs to provide students with the skills and ability to search for, think about, and critically analysie information (including its source), to be able to check its validity and usefulness. This can only be achieved when the students have a good understanding of basic skills that they can build on.
