Here is a quick tutorial to teach you how to insert questions into eduCanon. You will need to have a video in mind.
Some additional feature in eduCanon:

* You can crop videos

* You can group videos together for lessons

* You can monitor student progress

I like the idea of being able to insert questions and comments into videos that will be used with students, either large group or individual. It provides for formative quick checks to ensure students are on track and can generate discussions amongst groups or with the whole class. I also think that, giving students this option, they could create reactions by asking questions and direct their own learning through adding questions or comments to what they are viewing.

Of course, many of the sites listed are not just for educators, but for learners. In addition, since teaching is essential in all fields, if only to train people for the tasks they are required to do, the sites directed at professional educators seems like it would have broad use.

Dennis Oconner created a website to provides an easy to navigate list of the 100 best sites for educational videos. These include, YouTube EDU, Google Educaitonal Videos, and TED to name a few. I just bookmarked this site for future use.
