Chris is an ‘ideas man’ based at ELI language academy in Seville. He trains new teachers in Cádiz on Active Language’s Trinity Certificate, diploma level teachers with Oxford TEFL as an E-tutor and has run courses for state school teachers in Catalonia and Syria with the British Council. He is a regular speaker for teachers’ associations throughout Spain and Portugal and is especially interested in task design (which he calls micromechanics), the workings of fun and how teachers and students interact with each other.
Founder and General Manager of Inspirations Motivation and Language Learning Centre, based in the south of Gran Canaria, Spain, Patricia Bergström has been working in language teaching and language teacher training for more than 16 years. She holds an MA in Modern Languages from the University of St.Andrews in Scotland and an MA TESOL from ULPGC, while also being a trained Laughing Therapist. Patricia’s main areas of interest are Motivation, Bilingualism and how to enhance the learning experience and outcome. She is currently working on ways to make teaching and learning more effective by using aspects taken from other seemingly unrelated areas, such as laughing therapy and natural horsemanship.

Shawn Redwood has been teaching EFL for 10 years. He is a Teacher Trainer and an English Language Assistant at Colegio Santa Isabel in Madrid. He also worked at CEIP Federico García Lorca, Colegio Nuestra Señora de Loreto Colegio Espíritu Santo and Colegio San Saturio. Maite Molina has been teaching for more than 25 years in Madrid; Los Angeles, California; Charlotte, North Carolina and now in Gran Canaria. During this time, she has taught both in English and in Spanish all levels from 5 yrs old onwards. She is now the Head of the Modern Languages Department at Colegios Arenas. She has also been giving different talks and workshops to teachers in both, USA and in Spain.
I am a Primary school teacher specialized in modern languages, Spanish and English. I´ve been working for publics schools in Canary Islands since 2006. I can consider myself as an ICT enthusiastic so I have focused almost all my learning in the use of the new technologies, nowdays I´m studing a formative cycle called “Development of multiplatform apps”.
As a result of a Comenius grant I enjoyed (at Ghent University,Belgium) in a workshop in August 2011: “Tools for tutors and web2.0”

The last two courses I have been teaching CLIL and I took the chance to introduce the use of the ICT in my classroom.
After a law degree at Liverpool and a teaching course at Cambridge, I did 3 years VSO EFL teaching in Sri Lanka. I then did an RSA Cert, working for IH in Barcelona then London before returning to Spain in 1979. I have worked at all levels from teacher to school director, company consultant to materials writer to exam administrator. In this time, I have given presentations at many conferences such as TESOL, APAC, IATEFL, APAC, APPI, ACEIA, TEA….
Having worked with Trinity since 1990 I became Trinity National Representative for Spain and Portugal in 1996 and am now also Senior Consultant (Operations) for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
