Sorting fact from fiction is a regular challenge faced by most business owners, and in the area of employee engagement, a reality check is vital before taking any action designed to improve employee engagement levels in a business.


Acting from gut feeling, the collective invalidated wisdom of various business commentators, or in haste without proper diagnosis the current state of affairs, are all likely to see a business owner make changes according to mythical solutions that will not result in the required productivity improvements.


This excellent article, suggests that many business owners could make more successful attempts to improve employee enagagement with their businesses if they first recognised the myths that abound in this arena, and it identifies 10 such myths and provides a reality check for each.

Now this is something I can relate to, INCLUSIVE of when Zs are used instead of Ss. But then again language is evolving, the simplistic, acoustic approach is having its day, just like fast food, its convenient. One day I am surely going to miss the eloquence we once strived for, so now I insist on slow food.
