Want This New Innovation? Knee Horsey

Want This New Innovation? Knee Horsey | sweet | Scoop.it

“Most of us were raised getting to pretend that Daddy's knee was our own personal horse that we would get to ride when he was trying to relax after a long day of work. It was so much fun to do that it is hard to imagine anything better. It turns out there is no need to imagine anymore. Now daddies everywhere can up their game with a cute and fun Knee Horsey. Giddy-up!”

Review: Ducati Multistrada excels even in the rain

Review: Ducati Multistrada excels even in the rain | sweet | Scoop.it
Ducati's 2014 Multistrada 1200 S Granturismo is fast, nimble and can haul plenty of luggage.

The Multistrada 1200 S Granturismo is Ducati's top of the line motorcycle for adventure touring.

Equipped with huge side cases (73-liter capacity each) and a 48-liter top case with passenger backrest, this 1198 cc, 150 hp beast is made to haul butt while hauling close to a week's worth of luggage.

I recently had the opportunity to test the Multistrada with a week-long ride topping 3,000 miles. I rode from just outside Baltimore to Key West, Fla., then back again with a few detours, including Fort Myers Beach, Fla., Savannah, Ga. and New Bern, N.C.

Maya Angelou on Identity and the Meaning of Life ~ brain pickings

Maya Angelou on Identity and the Meaning of Life ~ brain pickings | sweet | Scoop.it

"Life loves the liver of it. You must live and life will be good to you."

by Maria Popova

"The light of the world has grown a little dimmer with the loss of the phenomenal Maya Angelou, but her legacy endures as a luminous beacon of strength, courage, and spiritual beauty. Angelou’s timeless wisdom shines with unparalleled light in a 1977 interview by journalist Judith Rich, found in Conversations with Maya Angelou (public library) — the same magnificent tome that gave us the beloved author’s conversation with Bill Moyers on freedom — in which Angelou explores issues of identity and the meaning of life."
