The report highlights the benefits of CSP with thermal energy storage, including provision of energy and ancillary services and enhanced capacity credits. It also covers avoidance of system integration costs incurred by intermittent renewable resources such as wind and solar photovoltaics, support for power quality, and possible additional benefits, such as improved long-term reductions in greenhouse gas emissions when compared to portfolios without dispatchable clean resources.

Il riciclo e la raccolta dei tappi in sughero , spesso sostituiti dai più competitivi tappi sintetici, resta però un'arma vincente a sostegno dell'ambiente e per la conservazione di questo prezioso materiale.
In Italia al momento il consorzio che si occupa di recuperare il sughero è Rilegno e sono diversi i comuni che stanno prevedendo la raccolta differenziata ad hoc oltre che iniziative specifiche in collaborazione con Amorim Cork Italia, come ad esempio Etico, lo speciale box per la raccolta dei tappi distribuito nelle cantine venete. Ricordiamo a tutti che, in mancanza di queste, il tappo, essendo materiale organico, va buttato nel bidone dell'umido o nel compost domestico. Ma i tappi di sughero delle bottiglie ben si prestano ad acquisire nuova vita e trasformarsi in oggetti utili per casa o giardino Via Silvia Bertolucci, Carla Rocca Delete the scoop?
