Sadly, I just learned of this young teens video she posted on Youtube over a month ago. Apparently she needed someone to help her and be there for her. She lost her battle with bullying, self-hate, guilt, shame and pain and committed suicide this past week. In her video she held cards explaining her story.

 

The last card simply said:
“I have nobody. I need someone. My name is Amanda Todd.”

 

Please share this post with those you care about, especially the teens in your life.

Victims and those who were both bullied and bullies had a higher risk of having anxiety disorders, depression and suicidal thoughts (#RELATIONSHIPS: With #bullying apparently trending, it's imparative that #parenting takes a huge role in prevention.

"Particularly, 6 percent of those who were not bullied or bullies went on to have anxiety disorders, compared to 24 percent of those who had been bullied and 32 percent of those who were both bullies and victims. In addition, about 25 percent of those who were both bullies and bullied had suicidal thoughts as young adults and 38 percent had a panic disorder."

My story: Struggling, bullying, suicide, self harm

I'm struggling to stay in this world, because everything just touches me so deeply. I'm not doing this for attention. I'm doing this to be an inspiration and to show that I can be strong.
