Ethical Dilemma Examples

This article has several ethical dilemma examples so that people can understand more about the decision making in ethical dilemmas.
Jasmine Urzua's insight:

This article offers many ethical dilemmas ranging from social to educational issues. One that stood out to me was the issue in which a dad needs to figure out whether he should break the confidentiality policy by informing the school of a teacher’s mental illness. He is not comfortable with a potentially unstable person in a position of influence and supervision over his eight year old daughter. What should he do? The action of informing the school would violate professional standards, but if he does not, students are possibly in danger. Personally I would inform the school because if one day something happens I could have possibly prevented it.

BBVA and NBA Cares partner up to teach students | Student in MGT 307 | Scoop.it

I am glad to see that they are touching on topics that are essentail in life.

By Cindi May  | June 19, 2012 | What do Barry Bonds, Bernie Madoff, and James Murdoch have in common?
Jasmine Urzua's insight:

According to this article, "A number of studies demonstrate that men have lower moral standards than women, at least in competitive contexts." Also it mentions that "When men must use strategy or cunning to prove or defend their masculinity, they are willing to compromise moral standards to assert dominance."
