I find this article quite interesting, as I have never heard of this happening before. Brandalism?! Are these people seen as our 'enemies'. As a student studying Marketing I find it very offensive in a way that these individuals are ruining the hard work of others. Really is a dog eat dog world out there huh!

Nissan LEAF Australia - A world without petrol

Nissan LEAF Australia - A world without petrol | Street & Guerrilla Marketing | Scoop.it

Nissan's latest car is a 100% electric. It needs no petrol! To promote its launching in Australia, the car manufacturer partnered with WhyBin TBWA to carry out a street marketing campaign in the streets of Sydney.

The campaign, named 'A world without petrol', looks to the future and imagines a world where we no longer use petrol. Therefore, petrol pumps become useless. Nissan and its advertising agency have thus imagined possible uses we could make of petrol pumps. They 'recycled' the petrol pumps and displayed them all over the city. People were invited to cast their vote for their favourite refurbished petrol pump on a dedicated website, www.zeropetrol.com.au. Watch the video.
