100 best Instagram accounts of 2016

100 best Instagram accounts of 2016 | Strategically Chaotic | Scoop.it

Wow I can’t believe it’s already year 2 in our top 100 Instagram series. Last year’s list was amazing (and actually contained 150 awesome Instagram accounts) but this year is equally stunning — if not more so! This year you will find a LOT of nature, outdoor and adventure photography. I guess that’s just what I ran into most over the last 12 months.

Regular readers know that I build my top 100 lists over the period of 1 year, adding items to an Evernote list as I organically encounter them. And the result is a list of the 100 best Instagram accounts I ran into during that time that I think you should check out over the next 12 months!

If you’re new to DailyTekk, be sure to check out our other annual top 100 lists. This is already year 5 for our top 100 websites and we’ve already put up a brand new list this year of the top 100 podcasts. But don’t miss the top 100 YouTube channels, top 100 Viners and top 100 Pinterest accounts!...

CES 2016: MSI’s Golden Idea for Motherboards

CES 2016: MSI’s Golden Idea for Motherboards | Strategically Chaotic | Scoop.it

The problem with a gold motherboard color is that it often looks too much like copper, and several companies have tried it in recent years (ASUS on Z77, ECS’ Golden Series) with limited success. Back during Z77 launch, one group of users seems to not like the scheme, or couldn’t found a combination that works. There is the old gold themed specialist modded PC that looks good, but I’ll be honest and say I have not seen that many in general when red and black themes tend to win out. I have heard proponents of gold components suggest that the color scheme works in certain markets, such as China and the Middle East, but until I see those numbers I’d take it with a grain of salt.

Digital Leadership 4.0: The Path to Success in Strategy Execution

Digital Leadership 4.0: The Path to Success in Strategy Execution | Strategically Chaotic | Scoop.it
For Businesses who want to seize the Digital Opportunities of Strategy Execution, the Dual Management System provides a Digital Leadership Solution which improves organizational Agility, Productivity and Speed by using Standard Digital Platforms.

A) Areas of Digital Opportunities

Companies can seize Digital Opportunities in two distinct Areas:

The two main areas of digital value-creation are Supply Operations with standardized Processes and Hierarchies and the Strategy Execution of Key Initiatives through collaborative Tasks in Networks. “

These value-creation activities are significantly different and require the bridging of Hierarchy- and Network-Management to deliver high Performance driven by Digital Leadership 4.0:

Supply Chain Opportunities:  The „Supply Chain “of Work in the “Factory” encompasses routine and „standard “processes with “structured internal information”, high repeatability and short time horizon. People have the function of running the supply chain with short „Time-to-Customer“, high Quality, high automation and low cost objectives.  Most companies have introduced SAP and streamlined processes. Next step is the Introduction of Industry 4.0 to sustain Leadership in Efficiency and Automation:
Individualization (batch size 1) under the economic conditions of a mass producer becomes a reality.
Production becomes extremely flexible, highly productive (up to +50%), resource-friendly (up to -50%), and compatible with urban life.

Simultaneous Strategy Development & Execution: The „collaborative Knowledge Tasks” in the „Office “are non-routine and creative tasks with “unstructured external information”, low repeatability and long time-horizon. (Time to Market). The people are „Value-creating Assets “for the Firm with the need of high motivation, productivity and utilization.  The next Step is the deployment of Virtual Work 4.0 with the following features:
Value creation processes are optimized in real time according to needs: formation of virtual ad-hoc organizations.
Career and family become more compatible with respect to individual staff availability.
Employees benefit from Digital Platforms and Intelligent Assistance Systems.

B) The Strategic Outcome of Digital Leadership 4.0

Three Strategic Priorities can be addressed:

1. Adaptability:

Enable Unity-of-Effort by self-organizing the Team-of-Teams Activities of all relevant Corporate Functions: Business Strategy, Product Development, Marketing & Sales, Industrial Engineering and Operations. Synchronizing the Knowledge Work of all key Function to adapt to constantly changing Market Conditions achieves and sustains a “5-Star” Level of Customer Excellence.

2. Productivity:

Lower Overhead Costs for Knowledge Work by Network Coordination. Moving from hierarchical Management to self-organization in Networks reduces Overhead by 60-80%. Overhead is replaced with self-Governance.

3. Speed:

Faster Cycle Time of Jobs-to-be-done by moving from linear Processes to networked Interactions. Using parallel processes of the Team-of Teams reduces Time by 30-50%

Are You Measuring The Real Impact Of Your Content Marketing?

Are You Measuring The Real Impact Of Your Content Marketing? | Strategically Chaotic | Scoop.it

The main question every marketer needs to answer is, “Did our content resonate with the audience?”

Looking at common metrics such as likes, shares, tweets, views, and so on measures distribution. But wide distribution doesn’t necessarily mean you resonated with your audience by affecting their mindset.

Just because your clever article or professional video appeared before your audience, it doesn’t mean they engaged with it. It’s just there, one swipe or click away from being ignored. But once they pause long enough to let the video play or start reading the article, that’s when real resonance begins.

That engagement is what you should measure to determine the real impact of every piece of content....
