Hitchcock’s Vertigo (PG) with pre-screening self guided walk

Hitchcock’s Vertigo (PG) with pre-screening self guided walk | Of Stow Interest | Scoop.it
Hitchcock’s East End is a season of screenings and unique events that celebrates Alfred Hitchcock’s connection to Waltham Forest. For our opening event we celebrate Hitchcock’s masterpiece – Vertigo.
Walthamstow Times's insight:

Launching in September 2013 we will be working with Barbican Film to produce a season that brings the suspense, adventure and glamour of Hitchcock’s films back to the place that was perhaps their original inspiration. Staging screenings across the borough in a selection of unexpected locations, we intend to highlight the gothic, enigmatic and eccentric elements of the borough which may have unconsciously inspired the great man.

Alongside screening the films, we will be welcoming established film-makers and critics to introduce the Hitchcock classics that most inspired them and inviting audiences to explore and re-imagine the suburban landscape of his childhood. (Create London)

Come alone or with friends or family & share my food with your fellow diners in a relaxed, convivial ambiance at the Damn Good Curry Supperclub.
Walthamstow Times's insight:

'Each connection brought with it a distinct cuisine unique in itself, yet connected in some way to its counterparts. Over the years, I have observed and learnt from women who, to me, are masters of their own cuisine.

They toiled in the kitchen making meals from scratch using recipes that have been handed down generations. It is this food I hope to humbly bring to the table along with the wonderful stories that go with it.
