Although there is nothing to suggest that Dr Jhund has done anything wrong, the fact that he is so closely associated with health service privatisation can only increase the impression of British Labour in Scotland as part of a British establishment cabal pursuing a policy agenda that has little if any connection with the priorities and aspirations of voters.
