This project will get students excited, and the possibilities for adaptation and endless! "The assignment asks them to research a theme, writer, or work of their choice related to the Enlightenment. The project progressed in two stages. Each week, students selected an artifact from a weekly reading, then researched it in Oxford English Dictionary to discover its linguistic history. They “pinned” the object to Pinterest, creating digital boards to showcase to their peers in short, frequent presentations we discussed alongside the works. By mid-semester, students had accumulated enough pinned artifacts to begin thinking about building a digital archive through platforms like WordPress."

This is such a fun and interactive project! "This 9th grade forensic science unit divides biology students into teams with the charge to solve a faculty murder. Each group has its own crime scene, suspects, and victims. The overall unit lasts three weeks and provides an opportunity to interact with every 9th grade student in the school." The students use Google Drive, Dropbox, and iMovie.

In this project students measure water usage around the world. They collaborate with other students from different countries. I would recommend, in addition to the site provided, using a Google Spreadsheet to keep track of data. Great project idea!
