Witness to a Plastic Invasion

Witness to a Plastic Invasion | STEM Connections | Scoop.it
It blew in for two solid days: a flotilla of plastic forks, soda bottles, rubber gloves, and other refuse. I tried to pick everything up off the beach, but when I turned around, you couldn’t tell that I had cleaned at all. When we went out in the boats, we had to go slowly in order to dodge the debris. Eventually the tide came in and swooped it all away.
Bonnie Bracey Sutton's insight:

Once on a vacation I was taken to a secluded beach. It was full of stuff like this from the cruise ships.

Disgusting.

This looks really interesting! (You have to get past two ads to see it, sorry!) I think really high quality games could be an important addition in education but up to now most of them have not been really GOOD games or the game has been good but the content was rocky.
