There were many things I learned from this article. One thing I learned was that companies use apps to catch people up on things just incase they miss something that happened during the game or in a commercial. I thought that companies using apps was interesting because its a great way to get there product out and really shows the customer that they care about them because the company doesn't want them to miss anything. I selected this article because I love using apps and watching the Super Bowl so this really caught my eye. I can use this information in the sports management industry because using apps is a great tool to getting to the customer and having them notice you product.

I learned that to put an add up during the Super Bowl can be very costly. What I found very interesting was that last year it costed four million dollars for 30 seconds of air time. I selected this article because I was interested on how commercials during the Super Bowl worked and how much it was to have a commercial play during it. I can use this information in the sports management industry because it shows how much it can cost to get your product out there to hopefully get good feedback by customers buying you product.

If you were not at the Barrett-Jackson Collectible Car Auction at the South Florida Fairgrounds  to see the records crowds , the millions of dollars of cars sold  and even Hulk Hogan in the audience, you have time to make plans for their next auction which will take place in August in Reno, NV. The Scottsdale, Arizona signature auction experience spans 9 days and it's my understanding that it is so big and brings in the most international guests and bidders than any of the auctions hosted the rest of the year by Barrett-Jackson. Anyone would be in awe of what it takes to stage and host these collectible Car Auctions to get this kind of results.

It is very interesting that multiple campaigns can make money just by using the right kind of hash tag. By next year, many companies will be joining the campaigning technique of hash tagging if that haven't done so already.

Super Bowl ads now have a new dimension to them. Social media.  In the commercials many of them tell you to hashtag a certain phrase.  This allows whosever commercial it was to see who liked there commercial based on the use of the hashtag. This also gives them more exposer over social media to the people who were not watching The Super Bowl.

In this article I learned that in order to draw more and more attention to their ads, companies have been promoting their campaigns with hashtags on social media weeks before the ad will actually air. I found it interesting that companies are now advertising for ads for free with social media and getting results from their campaigns. The reason I selected the article is because I am an avid football fan and the Superbowl is always a big time for companies because of their advertisements can be so profitable. This will help me in the industry because it shows the importance of social media in advertising especially.
