Crowd Control - Stun Guns Increasingly Used at Sporting Events

Crowd Control - Stun Guns Increasingly Used at Sporting Events | Sports Facility Management | Scoop.it
Security officers are increasingly using stun guns to maintain order at sporting events, but are they taking crowd control too far?

Via Amanda Mueller
Joseph Brandt Miller's insight:

I feel that it is at a good pace right now, because in example, if someone from the croud breaks out in the middle of a football game the player could hospitalize a croud member without meaning to. When you have an athlete of that caliaber "in the zone" you dont want to get in his/her way because they will do damage to you just by thinking you are another player.

Building green sport facilities

Building green sport facilities | Sports Facility Management | Scoop.it

Whether the issue is conserving energy or recycling building products, conservation has become a major concern for new facilities. A key for new facilities is their ability to minimize waste. From reducing the amount of wasted energy to building with sustainable materials, constructing more efficient facilities is a sound and correct decision

Via Amanda Mueller
Joseph Brandt Miller's insight:

I absolutely love this idea, reason being that it will save Americans money by going green. The more engery we conserve, the money in our wallets, the more we recycle the less we have to put out for new bottles and other things of that nature. Going green is the way to go!

I keep hearing about this story and it is not right, now granted, there are probably details that the general public doesn't know but the basis around this is just pathtic. Racism should not be tolerated, and in my persoal opinion Incognito should be cut for the things said on the voicemail he sent to Martin.
