I wish I had found this article earlier. It touches on some key points on why public subsidies are not beneficial to the community. Also, it mentions how some companies do not take all factors into consideration when they assess subsidy effects on a community.

Crown management one of the most under appreciated jobs there is. Standing on your feet for the duration of an event. Plus those who attend don't understand you are only enforcing rules governed by the stadium.

This article mentions how a "scheme" to fund the Vikings' stadium fell through and now the Minnesota taxpayers will have to "bail out" the stadium. It is interesting because the scheme that fell through is one that was not mentioned in our textbook.

This article is not so much related to the assignment but is really interesting. The World Cup is going to be held in Qatar in 2022. For anyone that has ever been to Qatar, they know it can be very hot. It will interesting, nine years from now, to see how the Qatari climate will affect players' abilities.

Personally, I think this is a good move for Security Service Field. Whenever I am in a crowded area, cigarette smoke makes me nauseous. Also, since other stadiums are making the move toward being smoke-free facilities, Security Service Field is more comparable to the others.
