As talked about in this article websites like StubHub have not only created new avenue for fans to pucharse tickets for events but also in most cases fans are selling season tickets for more then they paid for them. This is generating new revenue off of ticket sales it will be interesting to see if any issues ever arise between the statium and fans that are making money off of inflated resale ticket prices.

Kristen Towns's curator insight, September 22, 2013 8:15 PM

Being a big sports fan I have noticed the diffence in prices from buying from an actual vendor or a person. 9 times out of 10, the ticket prices are inflated when buying from someone who is selling their tickets. As mentioned in this article, individuals are making money off of the tickets as thethere selling them for more than they are worth.
