The NCAA has upheld penalties against the Saint Mary's College basketball program for recruiting violations, it was announced Monday.

The NCAA investigation has been charged with failure to monitor and a failure to promote and atmosphere for comliance in the men's basketball program. In these cases you have to wonder if things were purposely overlooked to gain an edge in the western conference.
