I truly enjoyed this podcast about the recent history of sports and culture and broadcasting. It is 50 minutes long.  My favorite part is how in the 1960s, so soccer players refused to wear Adidas shoes for profit.  Althought they were offered a payment that would have equalled one year's salary a few years earlier, they hated the feeling of selling out.  There are important parts of this podcast that help us explore how, when and why war vocablulary entered the world of sports. This is an excellent discussion about the history of sports in the second half of last century from one of the top sports reporters in Europe.
