Sammy Shershevsky's curator insight, January 12, 9:17 AM

The article discusses the advantages and disadvantages of both the Oregon Ducks and the Ohio State Buckeyes Football teams'. The article believes that Oregon has the better advantage on offense, but it gives Ohio State an advantage over all other aspects such as defense, special teams, and their coach. Although most people strongly believe that Oregon will be crowned national champions, the article says on paper that Ohio State should win. Ohio State did in fact beat Alabama, the number one team in the nation. The media has varied beliefs in who will win, but most people including me believe Oregon will still win.

Browner turns to yoga to give his game balance - Comcast SportsNet New England (blog) | Sports and Performance Psychology | Scoop.it
Brandon Browner is one of New England's most physical and aggressive defenders, but he uses yoga to try to keep an even keel.

Sammy Shershevsky's curator insight, January 12, 12:13 PM

The article is about Brandon Browner, a key role for the Defense of the New England Patriots of the NFL. The Patriots are a great team competing in the playoffs currently, and a great part of its success is the defensive abilities of Brandon Browner. Browner is a loud, 6'4 man who doesn't stop running his mouth. He is constantly trash talking and a physical appearance on the field. However, he does yoga listening to nature sounds through his phone before every game. He says it calms himself down and keeps him focused. Without the media, nobody would know this about Browner. People would never find out that a physical and mean defensive player does yoga.
