1. I learned that the San Francisco 49ers have signed PepsiCo as a founding partner for Levis Stadium. In order to do this they dropped their partnership with the Coca-Cola company. PepsiCo recieved exclusive marketing rights including television, local media, and digital assets. The two partners also tie in with retail promotion ideas such as randomly inserting 49 gold pepsi cans throughout the northern california area stores, to commemorate the team's final season at Candlestick Park.
2. This article was interesting to me because it shows how NFL teams such as the San Francisco 49ers sign founding partners to increase their popularity and revenue. I also found it very educational that PepsiCo (the founding partner) was able to recieve exclusive marketing rights after signing with the 49ers.

I aslo enjoy learning about the more behind the scenes aspects of how these teams such as the 49ers in this situation increase their revenue and sign founding partners to increase their popularity.
