In fact yoga is more about the mind than then anything else. As much as I would personally love to know the one physical position that will provide all the benefits of yoga it’s not possible. The body is so completed that it requires movement through many forms to optimize complete well-being. The best position is the mental state of mind you achieve when you are very peaceful and calm while doing yoga. With a good mental position comes the best result in your practice of yoga.
