Controlling a motor without sensors sounds hard, but it can be done. One approach is to run a
sympathetic software model of the system.

Such a compelling and promising response to the impending digital deluge! Enlisting algorithms to refract/blend/weight data streams opens up new dimensions: We are no longer linear but are instantly omnidirectional. Self-tuning sympathetic algorithms allow for the parsing/balancing of multiple vectors simultaneously. The implications for pattern identification are formidable, but my particular interest is organizational design. Customized and artfully interlinked dashboards and the sorted/curated business intelligence they will foment dynamic reorganization via digitization.
