William T. Grant Scholars (July 9, 2014)

Every year, four to six William T. Grant Scholars are selected to receive $350,000 distributed over a five-year period. The Scholars Program supports promising early-career researchers from diverse disciplines, who have demonstrated success in conducting high-quality research and are seeking to further develop and broaden their expertise. The WTG Foundation's current research interests include programs, policies, and practices that reduce inequality in youth outcomes, and the use of research evidence in policy and practice. Candidates are nominated by a supporting institution and must submit five-year research plans that demonstrate creativity, intellectual rigor, and a commitment to continued professional development.

Grants are available in over 125 countries worldwide. Grant lengths vary in duration: applicants can propose projects for a period of two to 12 months, as specified in the award description.
