Fascinating post... If you’re doing any reading about Content Curation as part of an overall content marketing strategy, you sometimes see writers referring to this as something new. I remember when I started really getting interested in it back in 2011. So is it new? When did content curation begin to be included as a content marketing strategy? When did Content Curation Begin? Actually, it’s a pretty broad question, so let’s narrow it down to this: when did Content Curation begin to be discussed as a strategic content marketing tactic? I turned to our good friend Google, using time-sensitive searches to see what I could find....

"Over the past nine years I have had the pleasure of hiring (and the displeasure of firing) new hires into their teaching careers. In watching teachers come into the profession some just "have it." Some seem to be innately programmed to be teachers. For others, it is a much more difficult road to travel. Additionally, there has been much awareness brought up about "teacher burn-out" and teachers not being able to survive this profession. It has taken nine years of watching, listening, and observing to come to understand that there are two distinct differences between teachers that excel and love the profession, and those that do not excel and are prone to burn-out."

Luis Rebelo de Andrade in collaboration with Diogo Aguiar completed the design for seven cozy accommodation units presently known as the “Eco-Resort” and located in Parque de Pedras Salgadas, Portugal. The original resort was especially envisioned as a serene place for guests to get away and experience nature in its purest form: “Designed in a modular prefabrication system but flexible to adapt to the specific places within the park, these houses result in several different combinations of the same three modules (entrance/bathing – living – sleeping) creating different morphologies and different dialogs with the surrounding environment“. The interiors of the resort are highly modern and pay tribute to the minimalist style. In other words, functionality is a key factor in the design, although the architecture also ranks high in aesthetics...

The new Arts Centre "Halle am Wasser" by the Berlin and London based practice Pott Architects is part of a self-sufficient urban accommodation complex featuring an Arts Campus, Marina, flats, offices and restaurants. A key element of the development of the whole area was the transformation of an old derelict warehouse into an extensive art gallery, a cultural hub for the whole district. The art forum takes the shape of a folded sculptural element, with a membrane streching across the outside of the existing building, transforming it into a home for all forms of art with 6 main galleries varying in size. The canopy covering allows natural light inside and significantly improves the appearance of the warehouse. The steel skeleton of the building is successfully adapted to accommodate the flexible open-plan gallery spaces that can be easily adjusted according to the requirements of the artists...
