While teachers in the classrooms have heard about (and many apply) UDL principles in their very teaching, online courses may have a ways to go.  This brief discusses the extensive support needed for students with disabilities when taking an online course.  It is also pointed out that very few take students with disabilities into consideration when designing and online course.

I've seen the future and it is math less and it is awesome and it is this PhotoMath app that solves math problems just by pointing your phone's camera at them. It's like a cross between a text reading camera, a supremely sophisticated calculator and well, the future. Point and solve and never do math again.
