World Map as Seen Through a Drop of Water

World Map as Seen Through a Drop of Water | Spatial in Schools | Scoop.it
Markus Reugels is a German photographer who specializes in capturing the art of water droplets.  The resulting images are so fantastic one might think that Photoshop or some other image manipulation software had a hand in creating them.

As beautiful image as you'll see anywhere.

Global Conservation Maps

These maps are the result of an unprecedented effort by Nature Conservancy scientists, in collaboration with governments, scientists and conservation organizations around the world.

These Global Conservation Maps can be used to view data representations for marine, freshwater, and terrestrial ecosystems.

To view the datasets on a map, select a base layer then choose a dataset from the drop down menu for that base map.

Useful for learners to...

- examine conservation data by ecosystem and region.

- downloaded for re-use in Google Maps, Google Earth, and GeoCommons;

- create their own maps to show correlations and comparisons.
