Investigation into the historical and current use of weather modification for military purposes.
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:

This is a good, if somewhat lengthy, introduction into weather modification capabilities and it asks the question how many of the extreme weather events we see and how much of the change in climate is really caused by those capabilities being tested and used on a large scale.

It is definitely one of the areas we know too little about. Government transparency, if we could achieve it, might bring out some of the much needed answers...

The Electric Cosmos

The Electric Cosmos | Science, Space, and news from 'out there' | Scoop.it

Modern astronomy and cosmology ignores electricity and misinterprets redshift.

There is a revolution just beginning in astronomy/cosmology that will rival the one set off by Copernicus and Galileo.  This revolution is based on the growing realization that the cosmos is highly electrical in nature.  It is becoming clear that 99% of the universe is made up not of "invisible matter", but rather, of matter in the plasma state.  Electrodynamic forces in electric plasmas are much stronger than the gravitational force.

Mainstream astrophysicists are continually “surprised” by new data sent back by space probes and orbiting telescopes.  That ought to be a clue that something is wrong.  New information always sends theoretical astrophysicists "back to the drawing board".  In light of this, it is curious that they have such "cock-sure" attitudes about the infallibility of their present models.  Those models seem to require major "patching up" every time a new space probe sends back data.

Astrophysicists and astronomers do not study experimental plasma dynamics in graduate school.  They rarely take any courses in electrodynamic field theory, and thus they try to explain every new discovery via gravity, magnetism, and fluid dynamics which is all they understand.  It is no wonder they cannot understand that 99% of all cosmic phenomena are due to plasma dynamics and not to gravity alone.

When confronted by observations that cast doubt on the validity of their theories, astrophysicists have circled their wagons and conjured up pseudo-scientific invisible entities such as neutron stars, weakly interacting massive particles, strange energy, and black holes.  When confronted by solid evidence such as Halton Arp's photographs that contradict the Big Bang Theory, their response is to refuse him access to any major telescope in the U.S.

Instead of wasting time in a futile battle trying to convince entrenched mainstream astronomers to seriously investigate the Electric/Plasma Universe ideas, a growing band of plasma scientists and engineers are simply bypassing them.  A new electric plasma-based paradigm that does not find new discoveries to be “enigmatic and puzzling”, but rather to be predictable and consistent with an electrical point of view, is slowly but surely replacing the old paradigm wherein all electrical mechanisms are ignored.

This web site is dedicated to explaining the basis of this ongoing scientific shift...

Case made for 'ninth planet' - BBC News

Case made for 'ninth planet' - BBC News | Science, Space, and news from 'out there' | Scoop.it

American astronomers say they have strong evidence that there is a ninth planet in our Solar System orbiting far beyond even the dwarf world Pluto.

The team, from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), has no direct observations to confirm its presence just yet.

Rather, the scientists make the claim based on the way other far-flung objects are seen to move.

But if proven, the putative planet would have 10 times the mass of Earth.

The Caltech astronomers have a vague idea where it ought to be on the sky, and their work is sure to fire a campaign to try to track it down.

Protecting Earth and A Better Way to Mars

Protecting Earth and A Better Way to Mars | Science, Space, and news from 'out there' | Scoop.it

The following 3-prong idea leverages the possible advantages that could come from creating new infrastructure at the L-1 Lagrangian point in space.  Here we can create new infrastructure to save and also power our planet and as a bonus find a better way to go to Mars. Not a bad—in fact may be a great 3-in-l solution.

L-1 can indeed be a lower cost and safer way to Mars, an excellent location for a solar power satellite, and viable way to create a solar shield for Earth. This will be essential when the natural shielding from the Van Allen Belts is greatly diminished as the world’s magnetic poles flip.

The answer advocated here is what I called STAMPSS (STaging Area to Mars and Protective Solar Screen).

The L-1 Point can act as the Staging Area for Missions to Mars and Creation of the “Solar Shield” for Earth. This is the most suitable place in space to locate at least three facilities...

‘Cosmic Web’ or Cosmic Electricity Grid

‘Cosmic Web’ or Cosmic Electricity Grid | Science, Space, and news from 'out there' | Scoop.it

Observations on the largescale structure of the Universe over the past decades have given rise to the notion of the ‘cosmic web’, which is nothing if not the cosmic electricity grid of the Electric Plasma Universe - Dr Mae-Wan Ho

There is no starker contrast between the Big Bang and the Electric Plasma Universe.

Big Bang cosmology developed when the Universe could only be seen dimly through light emitted in the visible electromagnetic spectrum, a narrow band less than one octave between 390 and 700 nm.

Since the 1970s, space research has extended our vision enormously in an electromagnetic spectrum spanning some 30 octaves - from radio waves, microwaves, and infrared at one extreme to ultraviolet, x-rays and γ-rays at the other, all emitted by magnetized plasmas, and on timescales of split seconds to minutes, hours, and days.

Instead of a static Big Bang Universe stuffed with dead dark matter and dark energy, the Electric Plasma Universe is alive and shimmering, flashing, often bursting with unrivalled brilliance...

Sepp Hasslberger's insight:

Major change coming in the way we view the universe. Einstein's gravity centred description of the universe is no longer sufficient. There are electric and magnetic forces out there that shape matter into galaxies, stars and planets...

Report of discovery of large object in far outer edges of solar system incites skeptical reactions

Report of discovery of large object in far outer edges of solar system incites skeptical reactions | Science, Space, and news from 'out there' | Scoop.it

Two separate teams of researchers (one from Mexico, the other Sweden), have incited skepticism among the astronomy community by posting papers on the preprint server arXiv each describing a different large object they observed in the outer edges of the solar system.

One of the objects was found to be near W Aquilae in the night sky—the other adjacent to Alpha Centauri . Both groups report being skeptical at first regarding a faint glow, but monitored what they had seen nonetheless—to their surprise they found that the objects appeared to move relative to the stars behind them, which suggested they might be relatively close and that they might be orbiting the sun.

The Swedish team nick-named the object they observed Gna, after a Nordic God known for its swiftness, and have told the press they had no intention of suggesting they had found the mythical Planet X which supposedly lies somewhere beyond Pluto. Instead they suggest it might be a large asteroid. The team from Mexico went a little further suggesting that the object they observed might possibly turn out to be a brown dwarf.

Report of discovery of large object in far outer edges of solar system incites skeptical reactions. Orbiting far behind the dwarf planet Pluto, scientists have found a celestial object, some believe that this may be a brown dwarf and some believe that it may be the mythical ninth planet, Planet X. The Swedish team nicknamed the object Gna, the Swedish God known for swiftness, they also suggest it might be a large asteroid. Some astronomers say not to jump on to the “ninth planet bandwagon” because the objects could be little blips of noise that have appeared like a far away object. After reading this article I feel that the mysterious object is probably just a large asteroid, but I have read other articles about the ninth planet so my opinion is torn between the two ideas.

Nasa finding confirms Indian theory: Black holes are 'ultra hot balls of fire' - Firstpost

Nasa finding confirms Indian theory: Black holes are 'ultra hot balls of fire' - Firstpost | Science, Space, and news from 'out there' | Scoop.it

Recent observation by Nasa scientists of giant flares of X-rays from a black hole confirms theory that the black holes ultra hot balls of fire like our Sun.

It came as a surprise when Nasa announced last month that two of its space telescopes caught a huge burst of X-ray spewing out of a super massive black hole.

What is unique about this giant flare is it appeared to be triggered by the eruption of a massive corona (charged particles) from the "black hole". If nothing can get out of a black hole, how did the corona come out of it?

Abhas Mitra, till recently head of theoretical astrophysics at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) in Mumbai and currently Adjunct Professor at the Homi Bhabha National Institute says Nasa's observation has only bolstered his theory that "true" black holes do not exist and that the so-called black holes are in fact hot balls of magnetized plasma...

Sepp Hasslberger's insight:

Here goes another one of conventional physics' holy cows, the black hole... they are just supermassive, and super-fast rotating, stellar objects.

New study: A Mysterious Mammoth Carcass Could Change Human History

New study: A Mysterious Mammoth Carcass Could Change Human History | Science, Space, and news from 'out there' | Scoop.it

The carcass was remarkably well preserved, but something was clearly wrong. A rounded hole through the interior jugal. Deep incisions along the ribs. Dents in the left scapula. A broken mandible.

This 45,000 year-old mammoth’s life ended violently at the hands of hunters. That wouldn’t be surprising—it’s well known that Pleistocene humans were expert mammoth killers—but for the location. It was excavated from a permafrost embankment at Yenisei bay, a remote spot in central Siberia where a massive river empties into the Arctic Ocean.

“We [now] know that the eastern Siberia up to its Arctic limits was populated starting at roughly 50,000 years ago,” said Vladimir Pitulko, an archaeologist at the Russian Academy of Sciences and lead author on the study. “This makes our window into the remote part [of the planet] open wider.”

The discovery challenges our current understanding of early human history. Archaeologists believe that the ability to survive in far northern climates was related to technological advancements, including the widespread adoption of ivory hunting spears. If those advances had already occurred 45,000 years ago, then people could conceivably have crossed the Bering Land Straight into North America around that time. By comparison, our current oldest evidence for humans in North America only dates back about 15,000 years.

This physicist has a groundbreaking idea about why life exists | Science, Space, and news from 'out there' | Scoop.it

Popular hypotheses credit a primordial soup, a bolt of lightning, and a colossal stroke of luck.

.

But if a provocative new theory is correct, luck may have little to do with it. Instead, according to the physicist proposing the idea, the origin and subsequent evolution of life follow from the fundamental laws of nature and “should be as unsurprising as rocks rolling downhill.”

The formula, based on established physics, indicates that when a group of atoms is driven by an external source of energy (like the sun or chemical fuel) and surrounded by a heat bath (like the ocean or atmosphere), it will often gradually restructure itself in order to dissipate increasingly more energy. This could mean that, under certain conditions, matter inexorably acquires the key physical attribute associated with life...

How the Electric Plasma Universe Creates Galaxies and Stars

How the Electric Plasma Universe Creates Galaxies and Stars | Science, Space, and news from 'out there' | Scoop.it

A coherent theory of how galaxies and stars are created only exists in the Electric Plasma Universe - Dr Mae-Wan Ho

It is quite difficult to get a coherent account of how galaxies are formed within Big Bang theory.

One states [1]: “Galaxy formation is hypothesized to occur.... as a result of tiny quantum fluctuations in the aftermath of the Big Bang. The simplest model for this that is in general agreement with observed phenomena is the Λ-Cold Dark Matter cosmology; that is to say that clustering and merging is how galaxies gain in mass, and can also determine their shape and structure.”

Another version tells us [2]: “There are two leading theories to explain how the first galaxies formed. The truth may involve a bit of both ideas. One says that galaxies were born when vast clouds of gas and dust collapsed under their own gravitational pull, allowing stars to form. The other, which has gained strength in recent years, says the young universe contained many small “lumps” of matter, which clumped together to form galaxies.”

A third says [3]: “After the Big Bang, the Universe was composed of radiation and subatomic particles. What happened next is up for debate - did small particles slowly team up and gradually form stars, star clusters, and eventually galaxies? Or did the Universe first organize as immense clumps of matter that later subdivided into galaxies?”

Sepp Hasslberger's insight:

The Big Bang story tellers are pretty confused. Time to take a fresh look...

This YouTube User Invented Dozens of “Perpetual Motion Machines”
A YouTube by the name of Valeriy Ivanov, has created dozens of perpetual motion devices which are thought to be impossible. The thing that makes perpetual motion impossible is that of thermodynamics. Thermodynamics studies the relationship between work and energy of a system. There are two laws of thermodynamics, the first law is the change in a system’s internal energy is equal to the difference between the heat added to the system from its surroundings and work done by the system on its surroundings. The second law is the entropy of a closed system, or heat energy per unit temperature, increases over time toward some maximum value. So, all closed systems tend toward an equilibrium state (input equals output) in which entropy is at a maximum and no remaining energy is available to do work. Perpetual motion machines that violate the first law are known as perpetual motion Marion's of the first class, those who violate the second law are known as second class, although these machines invented by this youtuber are cool to watch and can go for a long time, they are not true perpetual motion machines.

Long-Lost Nikola Tesla Drawings Reveal Map To Multiplication - CBS News | Science, Space, and news from 'out there' | Scoop.it

A recently discovered set of original Nikola Tesla drawings reveal a map to multiplication that contains all numbers in a simple to use system.

The drawings were discovered at an antique shop in central Phoenix Arizona by local artist, Abe Zucca. They are believed to have been created during the last years of Tesla’s Free Energy lab, Wardenclyffe.

Tesla is known for the quote “If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9, then you would have the key to the universe.” It turns out that when the device is examined, the digital roots of the numbers in positions 3, 6, 9, and 12 constantly repeat the same sequence 3, 6, 9! Is this what Tesla was referring too? The self-organization of numbers and their digital roots?

Its hard to say, but Grether seems to think so. “This breakthrough is phenomenal. If we could get students all over the globe to use this technique, to play with it, and help figure out how to use it, we could overcome our cultural aversion to Mathematics. Instead of memorizing the multiplication table, we could learn the positions of numbers and have a better understanding of how they work.”

Welcome to Global Climate Change and Microwaves - an alternative theory to global climate change

Welcome to Global Climate Change and Microwaves - an alternative theory to global climate change | Science, Space, and news from 'out there' | Scoop.it
Since the late 1950’s, Microwave Radio Frequencies have become the dominant form of communication for TV’s, Cell Phones, Weather Stations, and a host of others uses. Each of these companies having MILLIONS OF SUBSCRIBERS!

Satellite antennas and Earth antennas transmit UHF and higher microwave frequencies all over the planet. Just like a Vacuum tube in old electronic technology, microwaves are insulated by the vacuum of space. Because the vacuum of space acts as an insulator, microwave radio frequencies are scattered through our atmosphere at an accelerated rate.

The Earth is a rotating electromagnetic field containing a dielectric material called water. Sending oscillating microwave radio frequencies through an electromagnetic field into a dielectric material, such as water, creates radio frequency heating (also called RF heating) at the molecular level of water.

Since our atmosphere is made of water and the Earth is covered with water and ice, microwave radio frequencies pass through our atmosphere, oceans, and ice caps. Because the wattage levels are minimal, warming is caused by a constant flow of waves that are never turned off. It is similar to cooking food in the microwave oven at a lower wattage setting. It takes longer, but still achieves it’s goal.
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:

Perhaps our roll-out of microwaves for practically all communications in the last few decades may have some actual warming effects. Who knows, without realising it we might be living in a giant microwave oven...
