Beyonce kicks herself in the foot because she's selling herself as an object of sexual desire. She's not being criticised for how she dresses, Beyonce's being criticised for spouting feminist ideals, yet appearing near-nude on a men's magazine to be represented as merely another sexual object to be enjoyed and used by, you guessed it, men.

Beyonce is hypocritical in that she has made her money not just from her talent in singing, but by perpetuating the sexist stereotype

Slightly off topic but still relevant to feminism and underwear. This piece critcizes feminism and criticizes how women still struggle to be equal. Interestingly, this article points out that women really can't be sexy and powerful. Though Beyonce is, apparently flaunting her sexuality isn't a form of power. This hows this discourse between feminism and the second wave of feminism, post-feminism.
