Joe Abate's insight:

all of these reviews talk about on how this board is a great board. in my oponion this board seems a little on the pricy side. how ever with all that i have read it seems like a great purchase. all of these reviews talk on how much each person likes this board. one review i read on it says its only downfall is that they wish it had more channel options. other then that one small small thing it seems like a really good board.

Slutz, Has anyone heard the Midas VeniceU yet? I'm mainly wondering if the summing bus sounds as good as previous Venice consoles. (I've used the
Joe Abate's insight:

I am using this article as my pros and cons article. my persional oponion on this board is great. i have not personally used this board but i have worked on a show at the public theater in NYC where we used this board for their music festival. I was right beside the FOH engineer and was helped him with a lot of things. i am familiar with this board and i have good things to say about it. However it does have its cons as listed in this discusson. at the time i did not recogonize any of these cons and i thought it was a great board. the best thing i noticed about this baord was how crisp and clear the board was.

Review of the Yamaha LS9 Series of Mixers

Review of the Yamaha LS9 Series of Mixers | Sound board consoles | Scoop.it
Sound & Video Contractor writer John McJunkin reviews the Yamaha LS9 Series of portable digital audio mixers.
Joe Abate's insight:

in this article the author wrote alot of informatioin. he talkes about what he like about the console and more importanly on how it sounds which is gool i personly know this console but am not a fan. This console does not allow you to use grouping which can be very usefull. this console is good for small theaters where they want that professional sound but dont have 30 people singing at once. the technoligy in the console is great as well as any digital console. it has alot of your effects already built into the console. How ever if i had my choice on which console to use this is one i would prefer not to use but would enjoy using if i had to.

Joe Abate's insight:

this article talks about mostly the good things on the soundcraft gb4. i know this board really well. it is a great sounding console and is designed very very well. the best thing about is that it is affordable. one of the sound companies owns one of these and im put with this board for the most part. i enjoy using this board. for the price it is and what its capabalities are it is by far my favorite analog console.

Gearjunkies.com: Yamaha M7CL info and reviews

Gearjunkies.com: Yamaha M7CL info and reviews | Sound board consoles | Scoop.it
Digital mixing consoles are certainly not new, but the evolution toward a truly intuitive, easy-to-use interface has been long and at times fraught with growing pains.
Joe Abate's insight:

This article is saying on how the m7cl by yamaha has become quite the board. I know this from experience. This is a much different board then its little sister the ls9. This board has so much to offer. the main thing about this board is the center touch screen. you can map things how ever you want on this board. ive used it for one show and i only have good things to say about it. it does about a million more things then the ls9. extremly userfrendly and the touch screen is really easy to use. i used it in 2008 so im sure alot has changed since then.
