Robin Good: Present.Me is a web app which allows you to easily combine your presentation with your own talking head video, in perfect sync.

 

First you upload your image slides or presentation file (PowerPoint, PDF, Excel, Word, OpenOffice or Google Docs) and then you can record your video from your webcam while playing back the slides at your own preferred pace. You can also pause and restart any time.

 

Present.me now features a "trim" function allowing you to cut out mistakes and errors you have made and allows to create also presentations with your audio only (no video).

 

The final presentation can be shared online on all major social networks or embedded in any site or blog.

 

There is both a free plan, allowing for up to 3 presentations of 15 mins, as well as paid plans costing $9 (30 presentations of 60 mins and no ads) and $39/month (unlimited).

New Social Video Curation Website: Zeeik

Zeeik has created a new way to reuse online videos to make and share video-only-consisted information, video Wikipedia; after disassembling videos by scenes or targeted parts, users can reassemble them to create a meaningful video group, a zeeik. 

 

On Zeeik.com, collected YouTube videos are packed and maintained in a video collection called a “zeeik.”

 

Users are encouraged to collaborate on zeeiks and can partake in any or all of the following steps: request a zeeik, contribute and review videos in the zeeik, or edit and publish the zeeik.

Users can also share their zeeiks with friends, making Zeeik.com a social website.

 

Presently, only YouTube videos are available to include in a zeeik, but that won’t always be the case.

I rescooped this piece from my topic "Mobile Marketing Strategy and Beyond" because I think it has important information we all need to be aware of and hopefully will get you thinking about how you are going to repurpose your content strategy for the mobile audience.

This is a question that each person active on social media should ask himself a day or another. Have you ever thought? [note mg]

 

How many hours have you spent adding buttons, gadgets and widgets to your new blog or website? You research the right tools, share buttons, share bars, analytic tracking tools and more. You install them with a hope and a prayer that someone somewhere is going to use them.

 

However, unfortunately many business leaders find they don’t get used. The share buttons sit on their site with the lonely zero or default +1. Chances are your pocket book or wallet might be feeling a little lonely too.

 

What if you took the same time you spend on the share bars, share buttons and tools and instead first focus on something worthy of a share? I know it sounds like a crazy concept because after all it’s far easier to focus on the bright shiny objects, geeky tools and data analytics.
