How To Implement Blended Learning | Edudemic

How To Implement Blended Learning | Edudemic | SophieECT | Scoop.it

Blended learning can be a great way to make use of whatever technology tools you do have, rather than needing specific technology that you don’t have. Blended learning doesn’t require you to have a 1:1 classroom, a certain number of iPads, or particular software, though you can put any and all of those things to use as you choose. Thus, blended learning covers a lot of ground – and in the process it helps to make learning more engaging, effective, and efficient.

50 Free Animation Tools And Resources For Digital Learners

That is education and animation working together to teach students everywhere, everything they ever wanted to know. Educators need only utilize the tools available, most of them for free.

Some of the animation links catalogued here will give educators very basic tools and histories of animation while others have the animation already created and set in motion, it’s just a matter of sharing it with students.

Educators need to decide which tool is best for them. If you want to create your own animation from scratch, then you want to go to sites such as Animwork. If you want to select from animation that’s already set up for you then perhaps Explainia makes more sense.

32 Characteristics Of High-Performing Classrooms

Instructional design is the strategic creation of learning experiences through intentional planning, sequencing, and data-based revision of learning.

This process includes both the ways content is accessed, and the learning needs and objectives (and how they are determined) themselves.

This puts instructional strategies, literacy strategies, curriculum mapping, standards unpacking, assessment design, digital literacy, and a dozen other facets of education beneath its umbrella.

There are two key elements here! The first is the engagement through peer review as the audience is real and critical. The second is the efficacy of repetition in the embedding within memory.

I have been working with games in education since the use of game in technology started. Remember NECC? Remember how games were initially written in BASIC when we taught kids initially to write their own programs. Many moons ago. Before NCLB.
