"Sony recently released a new firmware update for their F5/F55 cameras. Firmware v1.10 comes with a number of image processing and metadata improvements. See below for a full list of the changes:
Image Processing: Corrects the “black edge on highlights” issue that may occur on high-brightness transitions when shooting with HyperGamma or S-Log2 gamma.
Operational Improvements: New software prevents the camera from occasionally freezing when holding down any of the following keys: PREV, EXT, F.FWD, PAUSE, STOP, THUMBNAIL
RDD 18 – Gamma for CDL – Data Accuracy Improvement: The value registered for “Gamma for CDL” (as specified in SMPTE RDD-18 – Acquisition Metadata Sets for Video Camera Parameters) is corrected to “Content Video.” Previously, the value was incorrectly registered as “S-Log2.”
