Great side-by-side comparison of Ads vs. Promoted posts. A lot of what you may know already: use Ads to get Likes, use promoted posts to push important content out to your fans. One thing not mentioned: best to use Promoted Posts once you've seen that the post has a lot of virality already, so you know it will be well-received.

Meetin.gs, the meeting support and organization startup headed by Teemu Arina has just launched a new great cool feature, called MeetMe Page, which allows you to create, in a matter of minutes, a professional-looking public appointment page for yourself. Once you have selected days and hours in which you are available to take appointments, you can share the URL of this page (here is mine for example: https://meetin.gs/meet/robingood) with your own customers and contacts to make it easiest for both sides to find a common agreeable time for meeting together. In the PRO version you can also create multiple MeetMe Pages to manage different groups of clients and needs. In addition, the Meetin.gs service provides all of the additional tools and facilities you may need to carry out a great, fruitful appointment. Agenda handling, notes, related files, invitations, direct integration with Skype and Google calendar... you name it. Meetin.gs has it. The Meetin.gs site has been completely renewed and it is now much more informative and pleasing to browse, and the agenda and appointments UI is a pleasure to be used. Hats to the team for doing such a fantastic job. Meetin.gs has now become the little Rolls Royce for people who are fanatical about having timely, organized and productive meetings, and I wouldn't hesitate a second to recommend it to anyone. Free plan available to everyone. Try it out now: https://meetin.gs/ https://meetin.gs/meetings/wizard Features: http://www.meetin.gs/features/ Pricing: http://www.meetin.gs/pricing/ Delete the scoop?

This piece from Trendwatching contains some very valuable information about the future of business and how you can stay relevant by staying informed.
Here are some of the highlights that caught my attention:
Mega-trend of transparency in 2013?
**Brands must move from 'having nothing to hide' to pro-actively showing and proving they have nothing to hide.
**The perfect storm of consumers' ever-greater lust for NEWISM and niches, the expectation of (instantly!) getting jut the right product, ongoing eco-concerns and the desire for more interesting stories will all combine with the spread of new local manufacturing technologies such as:
*3D-printing and make-on-demand, to trigger a resurgence in
domestic manufacturing in established markets in 2013
Mobile Moments
**in 2013, consumers will look to their mobile devices to maximize absolutely every moment, multi-if-not-hypertasking their experiences, purchases and communications...
Eco Trend for 2013
**Rather than being discarded or even recycled (by someone else), these products can be given back to nature to grow something new, with all the eco-status and eco-stories
