Social media as a whole is growing every day. For example, once it hits 12am, snapchat releases new filters. The future of social media is ever growing. The topic of this article is the rise of music within social media platforms. The main reasons of this rise is because music within social media does not only improve advertisement, but also improves the relationship between the artist and their fan base. Being able to connect with their fans through social media is an easy way to interact. The author gives a supportive view of this new aspect of social media. Sure I'm repeating myself, but have to say that I still think of (and use) FB primarily for friends and family, saving LinkedIn for professional conversations. Noting that many people don't appear to know that they can a) build FB lists and/or b) post to specific lists, I can't wrap my head around FB leading the professional-networking space anytime soon. Skeptical, yes.

Well, of course it does -- and will continue to do so as long as FB gives preferential treatment to native video via it's algorithm. Yes, the algorithm changes somewhat frequently, and you should never chase it, but this doesn't seem like something FB will adjust any time soon.
