Anyone can learn how to use social media platforms; mastering them, and staying up to date on the latest trends and tendencies, is the difficult part.

Social media is here to stay. In particular, brands are thinking about how to maximize their efforts, and on which platforms, to reach the newest and widest audiences. Even if you don’t man social channels for a living, there are reasons to evaluate and assess how you’re communicating on these channels. “For midcareer executives, particularly in the media and related industries, knowing how to use Twitter, update your timeline on Facebook, pin on Pinterest, check in on Foursquare and upload images on Instagram are among the digital skills that some employers expect people to have to land a job or to flourish in a current role,”reported The New York Times early last year.
Anyone can learn how to use the platforms; mastering them, and staying up to date on the latest trends and tendencies, is the difficult part. Some brands have shown expertise on some of the more visual one, and there are lessons to be gleaned from them. But in the ever-evolving world of social media, it’s best to be the first to innovate. If you’re following others, it might be too late.

You just have to contact Twitter support, explain your problem clearly, provide a short explanation of your problem and have patience. It normally takes seven days to get your account unsuspended. You have to assume that it will take longer in the future with more and more people using and abusing Twitter and social media.
It is possible that your account was suspended by Twitter in error. This happens all the time as Twitter’s automated spam detection system does not always get it right. Even if you were suspended for the right reasons, because of prohibited following automation from your account or manual aggressive following behaviour, you will get your account unsuspended if you follow the correct protocol below:

Account shows suspended, not sure why! I have followed a number of Twitter accounts over the past few days. I have also integrated the account with my Facebook page. I believe, I complied with the guidelines as I understand them and I am not aware of any actions which might have resulted in this suspension.

The Emart supermarket has created a wifi-based flying store, enabling those within its range to buy products online.

Consumers in the Czech Republic have already been able to do their grocery shopping through a virtual store in the form of Mall.cz. Now, South Korea supermarket Emart has created a wifi-based flying store, enabling those within its range to buy products online.
Developed by creative agency Cheil, the campaign saw a large, remote-controlled balloon – fitted with a wifi router – flown over populous locations in Seoul, such as public squares, shopping centers and transport hubs. People who saw the balloon were encouraged to connect to the wifi through their smartphones, which automatically directed them to the Emart app. When downloaded, the app offered discounted products and vouchers to use on its online store. According to the company, although it targets families on a budget, often they will just go to the nearest convenience store and pay higher prices rather than make their way to an Emart. Through the flying store, Emart was able to bring its competitive prices direct to the consumer. The video below shows the innovative marketing campaign in action:
According to Cheil, the campaign saw sales through Emart’s mobile store increase 157 percent, as users bought products then and there. Meanwhile, its physical stores also experienced a 9.5 percent rise in sales as those who downloaded vouchers returned to use them. Combining both an online and offline presence, could mobile wifi-based stores such as this lay the foundation for a more sustainable business model?
