Vellum acts as a reading list  for your Twitter feed, finding all the links that are being shared by those you follow on Twitter and displaying them each with their full titles and descriptions. 

This flips the Twitter model, treating the links as primary and the commentary as secondary (you can still see all the tweets about each link, but they are less prominent). 


Vellum puts a spotlight on content, making it easy to find what you should read next.

Get released from the shackles of believing that content marketing success is unattainable, too hard, or only reserved for big brands with big budgets.

#1. You don’t need a content marketing strategy (the only strategy you really need, is to be helpful to the people we're trying to convert into customers).


#2. You can stop obsessing about “storytelling” (great content creators aren’t necessarily great storytellers, but they are fantastic tour guides).

 

#3. You can forget almost everything you learned about writing in college (remain focused on creating something your audience will actually find useful).

 

#4. Nobody wins the Quantity vs. Quality Debate (Be more stringent with your product-centric content, but be more flexible with your content marketing).

 

#5. Content isn't king. Distribution is (In a world where you have three seconds or less to capture someone’s attention, you start to care less where that captivation takes place).

 

#6. You shouldn’t hire “experts,” nor should you hire a bunch of clones (The moment you feel like you’ve got content all figured out is the moment your brand becomes stale).

 

#7. You can cheat (Content isn't easy, but the more you create, the easier it gets. And now you have permission to cut corners)

- He publicly admits to showrooming and has been conditioned to expect everything immediately and now (require immediacy).

We're improving News Feed to reduce stories people frequently tell us are spammy and that they don't want to see.

Cambia la #newsfeed di #facebook (per chi ancora non lo sapesse).
Come? In ottica antispam, quindi penalizzando pagine e profili che sfruttano il "Like-baiting" (richiesta di like/commenti/condivisioni dei propri post per ottenere maggiore visibilità), usano "Frequently Circulated Content" (post riproposti allo sfinimento) e/o fanno circolare "Spammy Links".

L’84% dei consumatori digitali utilizza il proprio dispositivo mobile durante il processo d’acquisto. Il tasso di conversione di questi processi di acquisto è del 40% superiore a quelli che non utilizzano tecnologie mobile.
