Internet conferma invece l’inversione di tendenza avviata a giugno, chiudendo il mese di agosto a +6,8% e il periodo cumulato a +0,9%.

Instagram non è più un luogo di creazione di immagini, ma un luogo di condivisioni di immagini e, da poco, anche video.

Si sperimenta di meno (vengono usate altre app per modificare le immagini), si pubblica di più.
La prossima evoluzione? Forse l'abbandono delle foto quadrate a favore di altri formati.

- Le pagina viste ogni mese sulla piattaforma sono circa 2.5 miliardi
- Mediamente ogni giorno vengono condivisi su Pinterest 5 milioni di article pin
- Dalla sua nascita il social di Silbermann ha racimolato circa 340 milioni di dollari di investimenti
- Nordstrom è il brand con più follower, circa 4.4 milioni.

What Do Advertisers Really Think About Twitter?

Ad Age surveyed 953 marketing executives and discovered that 70 percent currently use Twitter as a marketing channel, with 80 percent saying that they plan to do so in the next 12 months.

 

However, marketers are allocating less than half of their Twitter budget on actually paying for Promoted Products (compared to 73.5 percent of Facebook budget spent on Facebook ads) and half of all marketers surveyed have never paid for any ad on Twitter.

Recently, members of Stanford University and the University of Pennsylvania released their findings from a study on the effect of social media content on customer engagement. 

In the study conducted via Facebook, Dokyun Lee and Kartik Hosanagar of the University of Pennsylvania, and Harikesh Nair of Stanford, set out to investigate what type of content was more effective to engage the target audience for an advertiser on social media.
