Twitter is struggling to get more and more users and every single day a new study is released about how it is efficient for television.

I believe Twitter is working great for television but except for some live events and talent shows number are still smaller compared to the viewership. In my opinion a social tv strategy must go beyond a Twitter-only-strategy.

Twitter’s success in Social TV comes from users’ spontaneous habit to comment about what they are watching: Twitter is quick, brief and easy to use.
