Despite the headline this has very little, if anything, to do with social TV and ultimately nothing to do with challenging Twitter. However, it does touch on a big opportunity for a second-screen use case. IMDb is one of the primary destinations for those "what has she been in before?" moments when people reach for their second-screens. However, currently X-ray for Movies does not sync with the TV screen. In fact at the moment it is designed to be used while watching content on Kindle Fires. But, you have to pause the movie to access the app. So, it's not really a second-screen experience either... yet. So to sum up, the article was written by someone who doesn't have a clue about the subject area, but is food for thought nonetheless. Delete the scoop?
