"Unsafe Journey. A woman is riding between the railway carriages of a local train heading north from Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Her luggage is tucked under the carriage in front of her. It is the month of Ramadan, a fast which culminates in Eid-ul-Fitr, a three-day celebration. Tens of thousands of people leave the city to go to their home village and celebrate with their families. Je revois aussi, Denise, le superbe générique de Voyager (un Star Trek), avec cette photo. Le Voyager, perdu, prisonnier dans le Quadrant Delta (un des quarts de la Galaxie de la Voie Lactée)... Il y avait de supernes images !...

A hidden killer can lurk along the coastline, ready to pull unsuspecting swimmers out to sea. It’s not a great white shark, though —or a creature of any kind, for that matter. Instead, it’s a rip current — a narrow channel of water that flows away from the beach, catching unprepared swimmers.
As a kid growing up on an island, dealing with rip currents was something i learned at an early age. Luckily, I never had to deal with one.
