MoMA Unadulterated

MoMA Unadulterated | Museums, innovation and emerging technologies | Scoop.it

Welcome to MoMA Unadulterated, an unofficial audio tour created by kids. Each piece of art is analyzed by experts aged 3-10, as they share their unique, unfiltered perspective on such things as composition, the art's deeper meaning, and why some stuff's so weird looking. This is Modern Art without the pretentiousness, the pomposity, or any other big "p" words.

A great and interesting way to make museums appeal more to the tech savvy crowd. While I am unfamiliar with the "Tango" tool that is used, I will definitely do some research on it in the new future. Hopefully this will convince more people to visit museums in the near future.

WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT

Digital transformation in manufacturing is not as sexy as in Marketing as it often does not improve sales but reduces costs. Nevertheless it is an essential part of the digital transformation and this old vs. new chart from McKinsey clearly shows the transformation affects many different activities and resources in the organization.

The Importance Of Being Earnestly Innovative

The Importance Of Being Earnestly Innovative | Museums, innovation and emerging technologies | Scoop.it
Today, playing safe is playing dumb. Here is a surprising truth from companies from Southern California to Boston: It’s often easier to make a product 10 times better than it is to make it 10% better.

The secret of earnestly striving for disruptive innovation is its power to inspire and motivate, to rally stakeholders and investors for the quest to achieve a tenfold increase.

Mixed reality: Experience gets more intuitive, immersive, and empowering

Mixed reality: Experience gets more intuitive, immersive, and empowering | Museums, innovation and emerging technologies | Scoop.it
Increasingly, augmented and virtual reality are about more than gaming—companies are finding enterprise potential in the technology. The goal: to replace keyboards and flat displays with new paradigms for communication and collaboration, bringing a major shift in user engagement.

Mixed reality elevates the potential of AR, VR, and IoT technology by combining the best of our digital and physical realities. Instead of removing users completely from the real world, or simply layering flat content on top of our immediate view, MR adds intelligence—physics, gravity, dimension, even personality—to digital content relative to the space around us. As a result, we are able to blur the lines between what is real and what is imagined while stripping away the barriers that interfere with our ability to make decisions quickly, absorb and process critical information, visualize possible scenarios before acting, or share knowledge and tasks between individuals and groups. Science fiction no longer, the future of engagement is here, and enterprises will likely be the first to embrace it.
