A Simple Way to Create RSS Feeds for Twitter

From www.labnol.org

Our step-by-step guide explains how you can create Twitter RSS feeds for the new Twitter API with the help of Twitter widgets and a Google Script. Video tutorial included.
Cendrine Marrouat - cendrinemarrouat.com:

There is no denying that Twitter is fantastic. The problem, though, is that there is no way to follow people outside the social media site.

I use TweetDeck to monitor accounts, brands, and specific keywords. Unfortunately, I have about 15 columns opened at the same time. So, I usually miss a lot of great stuff.

Last night, I decided to try and find a tool that would help me turn streams into RSS feeds. My goal was to add those feeds to my

Feedly and save a lot of time as a result.

It did not take long until I came across a fantastic tutorial created by Amit Agarwal. In this tutorial, he uses two tools: Twitter widgets and Google Script.

Note: I am completely new to Script. However, it took me less than two minutes to implement the tips.

Frustrating Favor Requests: Freelance Doesn't Mean "Free" - Schaefer Marketing Solutions: We Help Businesses {grow}

From www.businessesgrow.com

A post about requests for free work, and the right way to cultivate relationships—online and off—before asking for favors.
Cendrine Marrouat - cendrinemarrouat.com:

If there is an issue freelancers and entrepreneurs have to deal with almost daily, it is requests for free work.

When it’s not an organization asking you to deliver a presentation “in exchange for free lunch and exposure”, it may be someone wondering if they could pick your brain.

Or there is also the discount chaser who feels they have every right to get your advice for an “affordable” rate because they have referred you to some (invisible) potential clients.

Too often, people forget the basics.

It always pays to get to know a person before asking for help.
