7 Reasons Why I Won't Accept Your Linkedin Invitation

From www.linkedin.com

Last year, after the umpteenth generic invitation to connect on LinkedIn had reached my inbox, I decided to write a rant-like article on the topic. Since then, these invitations have continued, but with less frequency. It's an improvement.

The best quote ever: "If it was up to me: “networking” would be renamed to “relationship building”. At least this would remind people why they are there in the first place."

As I always say, a successful professional understands the value of human relationships. How can you expect things to work out for you if you act like the world owes you something?
