Social media has great potential for businesses looking to increase their reach, traffic and leads, if used correctly.
Level343's insight:

Avoiding these mistakes all comes down to ensuring your team is properly trained, using your resources wisely and responding to your fans and followers in a professional manner. When it comes down to it, treating your social media followers the same way you’d treat in-store customers or clients will help you avoid the worst of these mistakes.

donhornsby's curator insight, February 18, 4:18 PM

The author has brought up some excellent key things that brands (and practically everyone) needs to think about in their social media efforts.  I especially agree with the following:

(From the article): Posting the same types of content again and again can convey the impression that your brand is boring, uncreative or just not in tune with your audience. Instead of posting link after link or quote after quote, change things up by posting a wide variety of content. When you get hung up on posting the same types of content again and again, your followers will become less engaged and are more apt to think you simply don’t care about posting engaging content.

Self-Promotion Is The Best Way To Network

Level343's insight:

Where am I going with all of this? The quick answer is self-promotion is the best way to network. I’m not talking about memes and selfies – sure, those are fun, but when you allow your brand the opportunity to listen, and truly open your eyes/ears/content/video’s to engaging, is when you find what readers want to know about. Therefore, one of the best ways to grab people attention is by being helpful and answer their questions.

So I’m taking the opportunity to expand on some of those questions I’ve been asked in the last few months. Below, you’ll find a compilation of a few interviews where I didn’t say enough, or didn’t have the time to expand on some of my answers.
